About Omni Builders

A London Building Company That Handles the Whole Job

Omni Builders is a London construction company that plans, builds and finishes home improvement projects, from loft conversions and house extensions to the plumbing, heating, electrics and decorating that complete them. We work across east and south-east London, including Ilford, Barking, Dagenham, East Ham and Orpington.

Most building projects involve five or six different trades. A typical loft conversion needs structural work, a new staircase, wiring, plumbing for an en-suite, tiling and decorating. When each of those is a different firm, the delays and disagreements fall in the gaps between them, and usually land on you.

A typical loft conversion needs

  1. Structural work
  2. Staircase
  3. Wiring
  4. En-suite plumbing
  5. Tiling
  6. Decorating

6 trades handled by one team, one quote, one programme of works.

We work differently. One team takes responsibility for the whole job, from the first survey to the final coat of paint, with a single project manager as your point of contact. You get one quote, one programme of works and one company accountable for the result.

The same team also takes on smaller jobs: a boiler service, a new consumer unit, a leaking pipe or a room that needs redecorating. That means you can keep one contractor you trust for the life of your home.

Why Omni Builders

Why Homeowners Choose Omni Builders

Choosing a builder is a big decision, especially one you haven't used before. These are the commitments we make on every job.

  1. 01

One Accountable Team from Structure to Finish

Building work and the trades that follow it are planned together and run by one team. There is no gap between the builder who finishes the shell and the electrician who wires it, and no one else to point to if something isn't right.

  2. 02

    Skilled Tradespeople for Every Stage

Each part of your project is carried out by tradespeople who specialise in it: groundworkers and bricklayers, carpenters, plumbers and heating engineers, electricians, plasterers, tilers and decorators. Work that the law says must be carried out and certified by registered engineers, such as gas work and notifiable electrical work, is always handled that way, and you receive the certificates at the end.

  3. 03

Itemised Written Quotes, Agreed Before Work Starts

After your survey you receive a written, itemised quote showing what is included, what isn't and how payments are staged. If something unexpected turns up on site, such as hidden damp or a rotten joist, we explain it and agree any change in writing before we carry on.

  4. 04

One Project Manager and Clear Updates

Every building project has a named project manager who runs the site, coordinates the trades and keeps you informed as the work progresses. You always know who to call and what happens next.

Our process

How Your Project Works: From Free Survey to Sign-Off

Five clear stages, one project manager throughout. You always know what happens next — and nothing starts until you're happy.

  1. 01

    Free Site Survey

We visit your home, listen to what you want to achieve and check the practical points: structure, access, drainage, and whether planning permission or building regulations approval is likely to be needed.

  2. 02

    Itemised Quote & Project Plan

You then receive a written quote and an outline programme showing each stage, how long it should take and when payments fall due. Nothing starts until you are happy with both.

  3. 03

Planning, Building Regs & Party Wall

If your project needs planning permission, a permitted development check, building regulations approval or a party wall notice, we identify it before work starts and plan the build around those approvals.

  4. 04

The Build, Managed Day to Day

Your project manager runs the site, books each trade in the right order and keeps you up to date. The site is kept safe and tidy, and you will know in advance when noisy or disruptive work is planned.

  5. 05

    Sign-Off and Handover

We arrange building control sign-off and the certificates your project needs, such as gas and electrical safety certificates, then walk you through the finished work and hand over the paperwork for your records.

Still have a question?

Talk to us directly — we're happy to help, even if you're not ready to book.

Omni Builders is a London construction company. We carry out loft and garage conversions, house extensions, basements, renovations, new builds, driveways and commercial building work, plus the plumbing, heating, electrical, decorating, tiling and handyman work that goes with them. One team handles the whole job, from survey to sign-off.

We work across London, with a focus on Ilford, Barking, Dagenham and East Ham in east London and Orpington in the south-east. If you are elsewhere in Greater London, enter your postcode or call us and we will confirm whether we can take on your project.

Yes. We plan the building work and the trades together, so structural work, plumbing, electrics, tiling and decorating happen in the right order under one team. You deal with one project manager, receive one quote and have one company responsible for the finished result.

Yes. Site surveys are free and there is no obligation. After the visit we send a written, itemised quote setting out what is included, the programme of works and the payment stages. Smaller trade jobs are priced before any work begins, so there are no surprises on the bill.

Tradespeople who specialise in each stage, coordinated by one project manager. Work that must legally be carried out and certified by registered engineers, such as gas and notifiable electrical work, is always done that way, and you receive the certificates when the job is finished.

We check at the survey stage whether your project needs planning permission, falls under permitted development, needs building regulations approval or involves the Party Wall Act. We explain what is needed and how long it usually takes, and we do not start work until the right approvals are in place.

Call 020 0000 0000 as soon as the problem happens and we will tell you straight away when we can get to you. For a burst pipe or major leak, turn off your stopcock first. If you smell gas, leave the property and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.
